1. No Professional Advice

Nothing on this site constitutes financial, legal, tax, accounting or business advice. Calculator results are mathematical outputs based on the inputs you provide and the published formula — not a recommendation. Always verify with a qualified professional before making business decisions, signing contracts, or relying on a calculation in a regulated context.

2. Accuracy & Best-Effort Content

We work hard to keep calculators, formulas, benchmarks, templates and downloadable files accurate and useful, but we make no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose. Industry benchmarks are published as ranges, not point estimates, and reflect our best-effort interpretation of public information. If you spot an error, please report it via the contact form and we will correct it.

3. License — Templates & Resources

The Excel templates, PDF resources and other downloadable files we publish are free for internal business use — including use inside private companies, teams and consulting engagements with your own clients. You may print, copy, modify and redistribute internally. You may not:

• Resell our templates or PDFs, either as-is or as a derivative;
• Bundle them into a paid product or paid course without prior written permission;
• Strip out the Retail Operations Toolkit branding, attribution or links;
• Claim authorship of the templates, articles or calculators.

4. Intellectual Property

All article text, calculator code, template layouts, branding and design elements are © Retail Operations Toolkit, unless a specific item is attributed to a third party. Logos and product names mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or probe it for vulnerabilities;
• Scrape the site at scale or build a derivative dataset without written permission;
• Submit false personal information through any form;
• Use the lead capture or newsletter forms to send spam or test third-party email addresses.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site operator resides. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. A formal jurisdiction will be published here once the publisher establishes a registered business entity.
